Wilderness Journeys
Taking time out to refresh, renew, refocus and appreciate the wild places around us
Desert Spirit Journeys
Each year people from the Wild Edges community organise extended retreat times in remote desert regions of Australia: the Simpson (Munga-thirri), Great Victoria, Gibson and other desert parts of Central Australia.
Making use of four wheel drives we travel and camp, taking time to stop and savour the experience, and to get perspective on our lives and priorities.

These trips take place between June and August September.
Tasmanian Wilderness Journeys
Each summer a range of extended walks in the wilderness of Tasmania are organised by people within our team.

Some are extremely rugged and remote adventures on foot or with inflatable rafts, others are much more relaxed, camping for a period of time by a remote lake or harbour and exploring the local environment.
These trips are about pushing our edges, whatever those edges might be, discovering resilience and the value of teams in the process, while engaging wild natural eco-systems, their beauty and sometimes their ferocity.
